God’s Instructions To Us For Our Children Lamentations 2:19

God, by His Spirit, is instructing us to:

DO WHAT?  Arise! Get up out of our beds, out of our comfort zones and cry out in the      night; pour out thy heart like water.

WHEN?  In the beginning of the watches: That is, between the hours of 12 a.m. – 6 a.m.

WHERE? Before the face of the Lord.  Wherever you are: at home, church, or anywhere. Make a conscious decision and effort to believe that it will work.

DO WHAT? Lift up thy hands toward Him. This may seem like a simple, uninteresting, undemanding instruction. Yet, it indicates reverence, surrender, worship, and praise; all necessary and acceptable acts when approaching the Father.

WHY/FOR WHAT REASON? For the life of thy young. Children are innocent, impressionable, and vulnerable. They need to be protected and covered, else they become prey to the ills of society: abuse, homelessness, immorality, lawlessness,  violence, and the like.

BECAUSE? They faint for hunger in the top of every street. They are seeking satisfaction. We may wonder what is the problem. Here God is addressing the fact that we are not praying enough for them; making the necessary sacrifices. So it is an act of obedience and faith that bring about desired results.

The Ultimate Goal of Being Saved

The ultimate goal of following the teachings of Christ is to be able to hear Him say:
-“Enter into my rest;”
-“Well done.”
AND have
-Eternal peace, joy, and gladness in a place of no sickness, sorrow, pain, troubles;
-Our name written in the Book of Life. (Rev. 3:5)

Genesis chapters 6 & 7 give us the story of the man Noah, to whom God gave a command to preach and build an ark for 120 years because He, God, would destroy the earth by a flood. Noah experienced rejection. No one believed or listened. The flood finally came and only eight people were saved. (SEE Genesis, 6:3, Hebrews 11:7, 1 Peter 3:20)

Romans Chapter 1 speaks to us regarding evil, corruption, and darkness, things that are not pleasing to God.

God has spoken to us again through His son Jesus in these last days. (SEE Hebrews 1:1)

Beloved, let us take earnest heed to the message given in 1 Peter 4:1-19 and…
Ephesians 6:10-20 – Be armed
Ephesians 5:1-33 – Live as children of light
James 5:16 – Confess faults; pray for one another
1 John 2:1 – We have an Advocate
1 John 1:9 – If we confess…

Let us take heed to Revelation 21 and…
1 Tim 6:12 – Fight the fight of faith
Hebrews 10:23 – Hold fast the profession of our faith

REACHING OUT

Scripture Reference: Mark 1:21-26

Reach out to someone you might have left behind. Reach out to someone in the distance. Reach out to someone who may be avoiding you. Reach out to a person you don’t usually talk to.

Lift someone. Encourage someone. You may have to go out of your way. You may have to push past your own feelings. Be bold and courageous as you reach out. Use your power (Holy Spirit) and inner strength.

You may face insult,  resistance, rebuttal, or even rebuke for your efforts but just remember Jesus encountered a similar challenge in Mark 1:21-26. He didn’t react but He acted as He realized there was a problem and He had the wherewithal to deal with it.

MAJOR CHANGES

“I will stand upon my watch …” Hab. 2:1-3

In 2002, in River Forest, IL The Spirit of The Lord came upon me and began to speak to me, saying that Major changes are coming.

This heavy presence stayed upon me for several months.

During that time it manifested in a revival which I conducted at Pastor Larry Gaston’s church, located on Madison St., on the Westside of Chicago.

The Spirit said, ” Major Changes”

It's going to affect the governments, economy, Nations, individuals, families, communities, countries, authorities, weather, sea and streams.  We must understand that when God does something, what he does always involves, or includes more than one thing, or one person. It's all encompassing. And so this is how God works. God said to me that he was going to put rivers in the deserts, bring down the high, and bring up the low.

We have seen, and are seeing catastrophic happenings in the earth: global pandemics, unusual weather patterns that affect all phases of our lives; on the islands, on land, and sea, in America, and all over. Big corporations are doing business affecting the economy, our livelihood, etc. Laws are being changed to fit our lust and lifestyle. What God has said in His Word (the Bible)is playing out in many different ways. His plan, his Word, will be, and is being fulfilled.(e.g. Mark 14:49b; Matthew 24:34 and etc.) He is at work in the earth to establish his purposes and plans.

What Shall We Do?

The Spirit says, we should pray, prepare, posture, position, and plan. Become spiritually, mentally, academically, and emotionally equipped for the changes to come.

1. Pray: Inquire of the Lord, “What would you have me to do and how should I go about doing it?

2. Prepare: Enhance current skill(s). Learn a new skill (preferably one that offers certification or a degree).

3. Plan: Write down the instructions you receive during prayer and determine the strategies for accomplishing them.

4. Posture: Maintain the right mental attitude. Keep the faith no matter what obstacles you face.

5. Position: Wherever you find yourself, seize the opportunity to actively pursue the plan. Get out into the marketplace and be aware of people, places, and things that can foster increased knowledge/influence. Maintain expectation for elevation.

A SONG OF CHANGE

“A song shall go forth, shall go throughout the Land”

A Change is coming, a change ye shall see.

A change in the weather,

A change in the sea;

A change in the desert,

It shall bring forth streams.

A change in the Nations,

 Change in the Authorities.

A wake O’church!

A wake, for what shall be,

The former is passed away,

And new things you shall see.

There’s gonna be a change,

I hear the spirit say change.

There’s gonna be change,

I hear the spirit say change.

MAKE YOUR CALL & ELECTION SURE

Many are called, few are chosen.

Israel’s experiences are our examples:

  • All were under the cloud;
  • All passed through the sea;
  • All did eat the same spiritual meat; but with many of them God was not well pleased.

Reference scriptures:

Matt. 22:14

2 Pet. 1:10

1 Cor. 10:1-10

EXODUS 20:2-17

“I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

  • Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
  • Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
  • Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them  that love me, and keep my commandments.
  • Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
  •  Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  • Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work; But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
  • For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.
  • Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
  • Thou shalt not kill.  Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal.
  • Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor’s.

“I will help you.” Isaiah 40:10

This is your help:

I will send you a comforter. St. John 14:16,26  “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

PROMOTION

Often we are at odds about who sits in high seats or seats of higher authority,

However, promotion comes from God. See Psalms 75:6-7

Proverbs 16:33 states, “The lot is cast into the lap; but the decision is wholly of the Lord–even the events (that seem accidental), are really ordered by Him.” Amplified version
